CUET UG 2023: The online application form filling process for CUET (UG)-2023, the Common University Entrance Test for admission to undergraduate programmes, will begin tonight.

CUET UG 2023 Application:

The process of filling the online application form for the second edition of CUET UG 2023, the Common University Entrance Test for admission to undergraduate programmes, will begin tonight. This information has been given by the Chairman of the University Grants Commission, M Jagadish Kumar.

The last date for submission of application is till 12 March 2023. The city of examination will be announced on 30 April 2023. From the second week of May 2023, the admit card can be downloaded from the NTA website. The date of exam is 21st May 2023.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) had announced in March last year that undergraduate admissions in all central universities would be conducted through a common entrance test and not on the basis of class 12 marks. The undergraduate admission process in universities will be completed by July 2023 and the new academic session may start from August 1.

UGC chairman Kumar said the exam would be conducted in three shifts over several days, depending on the number of candidates and subject choices. Candidates can apply for CUET (UG) – 2023 through “Online” mode only on the website https://cuet.samarth.ac.in

CUET (UG) – 2023 will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. The first edition of CUET-UG was conducted in July last year

With 14.9 lakh registrations, CUET, now the country’s second largest entrance test for undergraduate admissions in all central universities, has crossed JEE-Main’s average registration of nine lakhs. NEET UG is the biggest entrance exam in India with an average of 18 lakh registrations. While JEE-Mains is a Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted twice a year, NEET is conducted in pen and paper mode.
