In the Asia Cup 2022, the Indian team will begin their campaign against Pakistan. Both the teams are almost ready for this match on August 28, but before the match Pakistan team has received another shock. The team’s fast bowler Mohammad Wasim is injured. He suffered the injury during a practice match. Pakistan’s Shaheen Afridi has already been ruled out of the entire tournament due to injury. His absence from the team has dampened the morale of Pakistani players.
Now the exclusion of Mohammad Wasim too could weaken Pakistan’s fast bowling. Many media have claimed that Mohammad Wasim is injured and may be out of the match against India. However, no statement has been issued by PCB in this regard.
According to reports, 21-year-old Mohammad Wasim suffered a back injury during the practice session and will not play the match against India. If Wasim is not fully fit for this match, Pakistan could be in trouble.

Ahead of the match between India and Pakistan, many changes have been made in both the teams. India’s leading fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and head coach Rahul Dravid are not with the team. At the same time, Pakistan’s Shaheen Afridi has also been ruled out of the entire tournament due to injury and now there are reports that Mohammad Wasim is also injured.
